Unexamined-Life.com is a Wicked fan site created in 2003(or 4?) by ShoshanaF.
After 3 fabulous years of running UL, as it is affectionately called, she decided to move on, leaving the forum behind.
After the forum was removed, a temporary one was created to facilitate the building of the new multi-purpose website.
Today UL is back with a new team of designers and webmasters to bring you the most up-to-date Wicked news, pictures, and other goodies.
The team consists of many talented people who each believe in spreading the Wicked love. It is our hope that as you browse our site, you enjoy learning more about Wicked, and that you will keep coming back.
The Team: Samantha (webmaster)
Wicked has broken box office records thanks in part to Samantha, who has seen the show a record 21 times! Needless to say, Sam loves Wicked. Her favorite Elphaba is Shoshana Bean, and her favorite Glinda is Megan Hilty. Sam's dream job is being on the Broadway stage, but for now she's fine with just stalking shows. And did we mention she won an auction in December 2006 and got to meet Shoshana backstage and watch her get greenified? Yea. She did.
Jane (webmaster)
Despite the fact that she lives at the opposite end of the country from New York, Jane has seen Wicked on Broadway once, and the tour twice. Her favorite Elphaba is Shoshana Bean, and her favorite Glinda is either Kendra Kassebaum or Megan Hilty. It just depends on the day of the week. She is also the resident blonde here at UL, and often has blonde moments. Just ask anyone.
Christy (layout guru)
Christy has seen Wicked on Broadway once, but is looking forward to seeing the tour in November. Her favorite Elphaba is Shoshana Bean, and her favorite Glinda is Megan Hilty. Christy plays softball when she's not making the coolest banners, icons, and website layouts ever. Is there anything she can't do? Yes. She can't cartwheel. But she has defied gravity before. On a swing set.
Sara (news updates)
Like Christy, Sara cannot do a cartwheel to save her life, but that does not stop her from wanting to become a Broadway star. Sara has seen Wicked twice, and considers Eden Espinosa and Shoshana Bean to be her favorite Elphabas, and Megan Hilty, Christina DeCicco and Jennifer Laura Thompson to be her favorite Glindas. When not updating UL with important news, Sara can be found singing anywhere. Her favorite place to sing? The shower of course!
Mark (gallery updates)
Mark may be the bravest team member of UL as he is the only one (to my knowledge) that likes escargot and frog legs. (Side note: YUCK!) He has seen Wicked 3 times. Mark is the youngest member of the UL team and considers Christina DeCicco and Julia Murney to be his favorite Glinda and Elphaba, respectively. What is Mark's favorite song to sing when his alone? “I'll Make a Man Out of You” from Walt Disney's Mulan.
